The pendant is a traditional koru inspired by the new fern frond opening and features an inlaid koru pattern. The surface of the pendant features polished and textured finish.
Size: The piece measures 33mm (1.4 inches) in diameter.
The Pendant comes in a jewellery box with a meaning card.
The Koru represents the new fern frond opening and symbolises strength, growth and new life or beginnings.

About Peter Mitchell
Carving for over 24 years, Peter Mitchell is of Maori/European/Pitcairn descent. Peter started carving when he injured his back and could no longer continue in the builing trade, at a loss for something to do he decided to unleash his artistic side and threw himself into carving, a passion he had since childhood.
His carving journey has taken him all over New Zealand and the world.
He primarily carves using beef bone, his high quality carvings and inspired designs are sought after by many Museums and galleries. The majority of his carvings are for use as pendants, however he has framed pieces from time to time for corporate gifts and events.
