Hand Carved Bone Fish Hook Pendant

A traditional fish hook pendant, also known by the Maori as the Matau. It is a symbol of strength, prosperity, abundance and fertility. The fish hook is also known to protect the wearer when they are travelling.

The pendant is hand carved in New Zealand from cow bone. It measures 43mm long and 22mm wide. The pendant comes with a black waxed cord in a wooden presentation box with a meaning card.
