Hand Carved Bone Closed Koru Pendant

 Bone pendant, hand carved in New Zealand. The pendant is in the style of a the Koru, however it is rather more stylised than the traditional koru. In this instance the Koru is closed and the pendant is oval in shape rather than round.
The koru is of course a very important Maori symbol, it represents new life, growth, beginnings and peace.
The pendant is 42mm long and 24mm wide and comes is a wonderful wooden box.
