Taiaha Maori Spear
(MNZT2)
The Taiaha is a spear like weapon considered sacred by the Maori tribes. It is said that the bright and shining eyes of taiaha kept a look out for enemies when they were at war. The spear is made from Native rimu with feather and paua additions.
The taiaha comes in a black presentation box, it is 400 mm long (15 inches) long and 35mm (1 1/2 inches) wide.
