Sacred Maori Spear - Taiaha
(MNZT1)
This taiaha is made from native paua shell and rimu timber. It is made in New Zealand by New Zealanders and designed by Tim Pyke.
Many Maori tribes believe that the taiaha's bright and shining eyes watched out for the enemy in hostile times.
The taiaha comes in a black presentation box, it is 400 mm long (15 inches) long and 35mm (1 1/2 inches) wide.
