Matau Paua Brooch

Matau Paua Brooch. This beautiful brooch has been developed in conjunction with Maori designer Daniel Hobman. The brooch is silver plated & inlaid with natural paua. Comes in presentation box with meaning enclosed.
Designed and made in New Zealand.
Measurements: 32mm (1 1/4 inches) wide and 57mm (2 1/4 inches) long approx.
Matau: The matau (hook) represents strenght and determination. It is believed to provide protection when travelling over water so is often worn by travellers.
