Marsden Flower Jade Greenstone Tiki

Handcrafted tiki from genuine flower jade pounamu/greenstone (nephrite jade) from Westlands famed Marsden District - arguably the finest jade in the world!

This lovely medium sized hei Tiki pendant in genuine Marsden flower jade - the real deal. A genuine legacy taonga that will outlive its owner and many generations yet to come. Classic, bright green Marsden with a small display of flower at the base and has paua shell for eyes.

This Tiki is a one off unique piece and will not be available again.

The tiki is handsanded to a matte/satin sheen, not highly machine polished. This pendnt comes on a black polyester cord. The piece has been lightly baby-oiled. Periodic reoiling will keep your pounamu looking in showroom condition.

The piece measures 51mm (2 inches) long by 31`mm (1 1/4 inch) wide and 6mm (1/4 inches) deep. It comes with a velvet pouch and meaning card.

This tiki was hand carved by Caleb Ross, age 27 "Ngati Tuwharetoa/Kahungunu" Born and bred in the Hawkes Bay, Waipukurau. Has been carving since the age of 14. Carves tradtional & new age designs.
